Welcome Visitors & New Parishioners

"Our Parish offers a welcoming presence to all, reaching out to the spiritual, material, emotional and social needs both of parish members and of persons beyond our parish."

Excerpt from the Mission Statement of Saint Dominic Parish. June 1997

All Are Invited
Each Sunday, following 8:30 and 10:00 AM Mass, parishioners and visitors are invited to take a relaxing break and enjoy some light and lively conversation with new and old friends. Complimentary coffee and other beverages are served along with fresh donuts, baked on the premises.

When you register as a new parishioner, you will receive a welcome letter shortly after and a special mailing packed with information about our parish.

The Place
Rev. Walter F. Geraghty Parish Center

The Geraghty Parish Center is, among other things, our center for hospitality before and after masses.

Of course, there are rest rooms, nurse's office and a first aid station, a changing station, and an emergency phone available on the wall at the entrance to the kitchen.

During the school year, Joy in the Beginning , Sunday School Class for three to five year olds, is set up in the Nursery during the ten o'clock Mass.

You are also invited to stop for a moment before or after any weekend Mass, on the way in or out of church, for a chat with one of the greeters, a member of our clergy, staff, the parish council, or members of our many ministries and activity committees.

Daily Mass is celebrated at 9:00 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Chapel which is located next to the Sacristy in the Geraghty Parish Center. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available privately on the same weekdays at 8:30 a.m. See the presiding priest at the front of the Church or in the Confessional located to the right of the altar. The Chapel is also used for the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. daily, Monday through Saturday, and for Monday evening devotions at 7:00 pm which is led by one of our Deacons, Eugene P. Nebiolo or Paul J. Kulas.

For your personal spiritual needs, speak to our pastor, Fr. Ronald P. May, who may be contacted by phone at the rectory, 860-628-0349.

May your experience at Saint Dominic Church open new doors to you, spiritually and otherwise. May your presence here introduce you to new friendships and solidify old friendships. And, finally, may your faith in Our Lord, Jesus Christ continue to grow stronger in our community.
